Brussels Griffons are very entertaining dogs and are full of self importance. They also have a strong desire to cuddle and be with their owner at all times. They are almost never shy, but are really emotionally sensitive. They are stubborn, mischievous, and adventurous. They want to be noticed a feel they are the king of the neighbourhood. They are usually moody and also like to bark. Despite their tiny size, they take on the roll of protecting their master and are very alert. When Brussels Griffons are around other dogs they feel the need to dominate even if the other dog is four times their size. Brussels Griffons get attached to one person and are true companions. They will follow their master around all day and will cry if their master leaves the house. With proper training they can make a good family dog, however, they are usually not the best breed for a family with small children. They are ideal for somebody who lives alone and is looking for a friend.
